Sergey Nos's Award-Winning Design Marries 19th Century Russian Aesthetics with Sacred Geometry

The design of Onegin Vodka is deeply rooted in the aristocratic society of 19th century Russia. The brand's namesake, Onegin, is a book hero who embodies the main trends of that period. Just like the character, the brand conceals a sense of mystery and power. The most challenging part of the design process was creating a unique pattern that could reflect these characteristics.

The solution was a pattern in the style of sacred geometry, which subtly spells out the brand name "Onegin". This pattern covers the external part of the package, adding an element of intrigue and sophistication. The box, measuring 365 mm x 112.5 mm x 112.5 mm, opens like a door, further enhancing the user's experience.

The design was realized using paper with different printing techniques. This combination of materials and methods resulted in a product that is not just a container for vodka, but a work of art in itself. It stands as a symbol of the blend of traditional values and modern aesthetics.

The Onegin Vodka design project started in June 2015 in Moscow and was completed in April 2016. It was awarded Silver in the A' Packaging Design Award in 2017, a testament to its outstanding expertise and innovation.
